Could this the perfect item for life on the move as a DJ, the new Pioneer DDJ-800 a 2 channel midi controller designed for the industry standard DJ software Rekordbox . The Controller inherits the DNA from the now legendary DDJ-1000 its bigger brother in the line up. What pioneer have done here is keep their club standard layout and squeezed it in to a smaller controller without making it feel cramped. The DDJ-800 will be perfect for the DJ that wants to just mix 2 tracks but still have a huge amount of performance features . So if 4 channels mixing is not your thing this has got to a brilliant solution.

The DDJ-800 does boast some new features of which one is the new feedback reducer a feature to be found in the latest version of Recordbox and this is the controller to utilise this feature and will assist the DJ using a microphone to avoid those horrid feedback noises. Also the Jog wheels on this controller have 2 mode , mode 1 will display important track play information like wave form, cue points, time and BPM info. The 2nd mode will be able to display track artwork.

The DDJ-800 maybe a cut down version of its big brother the DDJ-1000, but the connectivity on the unit is certainly not lacking at all. With master out on XLR AND RCA, a booth out on TRS 1/4inch jack. Microphone on a XLR/JACK combi connector. And if you want to add decks or CDJs to the system, the DDJ-800 boasts line/phono inputs on 2 channels on RCA and of course grounding for vinyl decks . And last but not least a handing AUX input on RCA . When it come to the connectivity we feel the DDJ-800 has it covered.

The DDJ-800 is also the 1st unit that Pioneer DJ have made that will not need a licence key for Rekordbox as soon as the controller is connected Rekordbox DJ Performance mode is activated. But the controller does come with a licence code in the box. The ddj-800 is DVS ready but does not come with a DVS licence.

Color On Jog Display for quick reference to enable accurate performances

The DDJ-800 is our first 2-channel controller to feature high-definition LCD screens

showing information such as playback time, BPM, and waveforms in the center of each

jog wheel. Cue Scope indicates the distance in bars from the current playback position

to Hot Cue points and Loop points, enabling you to mix quickly and more accurately.

You can choose to display full artwork on the displays, helping you instantly identify the

track loaded on a deck by simply looking at the jog wheel.

Feedback Reducer – the first feature on a DJ controller to lessen microphone “howling”

Pass the mic around with confidence. The DDJ-800 is the first controller that supports

the new Feedback Reducer feature in rekordbox dj, which instantly detects the

“howling” frequency of feedback and brings it down. Plus, two independent mic inputs

give you greater flexibility when you’re juggling DJs, MCs, and guest speakers.

Club-style layout and features

Perform with the DDJ-800 as if you’re using our flagship setup. All the buttons, knobs,

and faders on the controller are arranged and used in the same way as those on our

club-standard CDJ-2000NXS2 and DJM-900NXS2 setup.

Use Feeling Adjust to set the resistance on the jog wheels to your preferred weight for

scratching and spice up your sets with the popular Sound Color FX and Beat FX*3 from

our DJM mixer series. You can instantly reference BPM and the name of the selected FX

without looking at your PC/Mac thanks to the dedicated Beat FX display, making it easy

to use the FX whenever inspiration strikes.

Audio mixer feature – control external input volume

You can use the DDJ-800 as a mixer to control the volume of audio input from an

external device – even when you’re using it on its own – by adjusting the trims, channel

faders and EQs. And, when the controller is connected to rekordbox dj, you can use

Sound Color FX and Beat FX too.

RETURNS & CANCELATIONS :

Arrived Damaged or Faulty- If your goods arrived damaged or are faulty your first action is to inform us by email to returns@djanddiscostuff.com or telephone 01325 480507 within 7 days and preferably within 48 hours. Our Returns Department will then arrange the return of these goods and we will replace the goods at no charge or refund any money paid for the goods and postage.

If goods go faulty after a 30 day period but with in the product warranty please contact our return department and arrangements will be made for repair or sometimes replacement goods. it is the responsibility of the customer to return goods to ourselves for repair or replacement after 30 days of delivery.

Non-Faulty Goods - Non-faulty goods must be returned within 14 days after receiving the product. In the first instance please contact us by email to returns@djanddiscostuff.com or telephone 01325480507 preferably within 48 hours. Items must be returned in a unused state with all packing and parts inc manuals

Our Returns Department will then contact you with the relevant procedure. Provided the goods are received in brand new, never been used condition and with the same packaging that they left our warehouse in, we will fully refund the price of the goods including postage where paid. You will receive your refund within 30 days although usually much sooner.

Unless the reason for return is due to a mistake by ourselves, you will be responsible for the cost of the return postage and ensuring that we receive the goods in the above condition. We recommend using a signed for, insured delivery method for your own peace of mind. Non faulty Goods returned after 3 days will have a restocking fee of 10% of the total purchase price.

Refunds
