"BE NICE, BE KIND, LOVE DISCO, LOVE LIFE"
Forever 54 is a brand that was created by Mike Lane based on the musical ethos of the legendary New York nightclub Studio 54. Bringing the Disco era back to into the 21st century with an added touch of House music vibes.
Forever 54 is a brand embracing people’s love of music and each other and have very much a policy of “Just be nice and you are welcome”. If you love Soul, Funk, Disco & a sprinkling of House music we are for you!
Forever 54 was set up back in October 2019 with the intention of becoming a music brand that brings music minded people together over a love of Disco & House music. The aim of the brand was to become a way of raising money for Cancer Research after Forever 54 boss Mike Lane lost his father to Myeloma Cancer and himself had a cancer scare back in 2018.
After starting as a 3 man brand back in 2019 and now in 2023 the ever increasing team includes videographers, DJ’s, web designers, dancers, fire eaters, saxophonists, glitter artists and more.
Forever 54 experienced a great deal of interest and love during the lockdown where we took to streaming to keep people’s spirits up in those uncertain times. This saw the brand grow at an amazing rate and gain followers from across the globe including Australia, Switzerland, USA and South America.
Since the world opened back up Forever 54 has evolved into not only an events company but now has a host of weekly residencies across the North East playing our blend of Soul, Funk & Disco keeping people dancing as we go.
In 2021 Forever 54 launched a dedicated private events element in “Forever 54 Exclusive Events” catering for small private parties to large corporate events with a capability of bringing anything you need to your private gathering.
2022 saw Forever 54 gain more residencies across the North East and also head to Portugal for its 1st overseas tour with amazing success across the Algarve, with a full week of bookings across bars and beach bars we saw a lot of love from people from across the globe. In addition to this we hosted a number of sell out events which brought disco minded people together to feel the love.
2023 was our biggest year growing into a bigger brand with more residencies including the Pleased to Meet You locations and YOLO in Ponteland. We also had our 2nd year in Portugal with bigger success securing a monthly residency for 2024 at the mighty Thai Beach. 2023 also saw the launch of our new concept night Glitter Brunch which was at the amazing Tomahawk Steakhouse in Yarm. This was a sell out event which lined up the way for 2024 for the event to continue.
2024 is going to be the busiest year for the brand with bigger events, more residencies and new venues across the Algarve and UK
