The SUB 18-AX is a portable 18" high-power active subwoofer for live sound applications with fully featured processing, a color touch panel, and remote control via Bluetooth®. The combination of a latest-generation transducer with a powerful Class-D amplifier delivers sound pressure levels up to 135 dB with exceptional clarity and headroom. SUB AX subwoofers are designed specifically for small to mid-sized venues and ideal for portable applications. SUB 18-AX is the ideal complement for 10", 12” or 15" woofer-size loudspeakers; it centralizes speaker management inside the subwoofer, providing dual crossovers, 8-band EQs, routing, delays, cardioid configurations, and recallable crossover presets. The polyurea-coated all-wood cabinet features a sealed Powercon True1 Top connector.

With internal factory-tuned crossover presets for RCF speakers, your sound system is show-ready in a few easy steps. Simply connect your satellite speakers to the SUB AX, select the crossover preset from the user interface, and you are ready to go. FiRPHASE linear phase is extended to match the subwoofer phase down to the lowest frequencies.

LiveRemote App

Whether you’re a musician, DJ, or pro sound engineer, the RCF LiveRemote App, the same app that is used with the ART 9 AX, is now available with the SUB AX models. On the subs, crossover preset selection, system EQ and delay adjustments and crossover individual settings are quickly accessible. When two subwoofer models are paired, they can be set up for 2.2 operation. Available for Android and iOS phones and tablets

GIG-READY

RCF cabinets are made of high-quality multi-ply hardwood coated with a rugged black (or white) polyurea finish. Subs are stackable and lightweight, have ergonomic handles with rubber grips, and are designed for easy set-up and tear-down. The M20 threaded pole mount on the top of the cabinet supports RCF speakers of various sizes. The powder-coated front grille integrates a special transparent-to-sound foam backing on the inside to further protect transducers from dust. SUB AX Series subwoofers are built to last, with powerCON® TRUE1 TOP mains connectors, so you can be sure that they will stand up to the rigors of use and transport.

RCF Precision Transducers engineers have developed new specific magnet sizes and molds to optimize magnetic flux while maintaining a low weight. The magnetic circuit topology is capable of delivering the highest, balanced level of performance in three specific areas: maintenance of a consistent, high integrity magnetic flux gap, exceptionally low distortion and efficiently integrating the magnetic circuit in a minimum weight design. The T-pole design optimization generates the minimum amount of flux modulation in the magnetic assembly during typical voice coil movement within the gap

Drive the Rhythm of the Beat

With 2,200 Watts of power, our Class-D amplifier can manage extreme sound pressure levels with an ultra-fast attack, realistic transient response, and very low thermal loss. The stereo input circuit features a low distortion design with an advanced safety limiter, maintaining the true character of the input signal at all levels. RCF amplifiers are designed according to EN62368-1 for maximum safety and present a Switch Mode Power Supply section combining high efficiency with minimum weight.

Bass Motion Control

When searching for an extended bass with enhanced performance, RCF engineers found a way to remove the high-pass filter, replacing it with a forward-thinking approach. Introducing BMC (Bass Motion Control), the newly advanced woofer excursion management feature. The speaker equipped with BMC can handle the lowest audible frequencies without affecting the woofer stability, with extended linearity and better sound integrity.

The BMC method works by creating a complete map of the dynamic behavior of the woofer, to generate a custom algorithm that only limits over-excursions. This gives total freedom of signal reproduction to the transducer. When high-pass filters normally protect the woofer motion from becoming destructive but change the phase behavior, the new BMC algorithm breaks conventional rules

Delivery to UK mainland addresses normally takes 1-3(usually 1) working days from receipt of your order by us. Delivery is made through independent carriers, for example Parcelforce. A signature is required on delivery of the product. The cut off time or next delivery is 3pm.

RETURNS & CANCELATIONS :

Arrived Damaged or Faulty- If your goods arrived damaged or are faulty, your first action is to inform us by email to returns@djanddiscostuff.com or telephone 01325 480507 within 7 days and preferably within 48 hours. Our Returns Department will then arrange the return of these goods and we will replace the goods at no charge or refund any money paid for the goods and postage.

If goods go faulty after a 30 day period but with in the product warranty please contact our return department and arrangements will be made for repair or sometimes replacement goods. it is the responsibility of the customer to return goods to ourselves for repair or replacement after 30 days of delivery.

Non-Faulty Goods - Non-faulty goods must be returned within 30 days after receiving the product. In the first instance please contact us by email to returns@djanddiscostuff.com or telephone 01325480507 preferably within 48 hours. Items must be returned in a unused state with all packing and parts inc manuals

Our Returns Department will then contact you with the relevant procedure. Provided the goods are received in brand new, never been used condition and with the same packaging that they left our warehouse in, we will fully refund the price of the goods. You will receive your refund within 30 days although usually much sooner.

Unless the reason for return is due to a mistake by ourselves, you will be responsible for the cost of the return postage and ensuring that we receive the goods in the above condition. We recommend using a signed-for, insured delivery method for your own peace of mind. And you maybe be charged postage costs we have paid to get the item to you in the first instance.

Refunds
Faulty Goods - All verified faulty goods will be fully refunded and we will also pay for the return postage. Please note that the verification process may mean we have to send the item back to the manufacturer. You will receive your refund within 30 days although usually much sooner.
