Pioneer DJ Announce New Controller DDJ-1000

Well it looks like Pioneer are at it again releasing another ground breaking controller the DDJ-1000 for use with their industry standard software Rekordbox DJ and this controller is the perfect partner to the highly anticipated new version of that software which is been released around the 18th of January rekordbox 5.1.

The controller seems to of inherited some of the features of the NXS2 range of products , with full sized jog wheels with added colour screens, which will be great for the DJ to get vital info on the track playing without having to look at the laptop . As always the controller is laid out in a Pioneer style making it easy for any DJ familiar with the Pioneer range of products to step up and feel at home with the product . Expect the usual suspects to appear on this unit like 8 performance pads for each deck and loop control very similar to the CDJ line of product.

A couple of killer features that just seem to jump out  the beat fx and colour fx are built in to the unit , allowing the DJ to use FX without using up precious computer power . Also a dual sound card allows DJs to swap in and out seamlessly . The browse features are also very similar to the NXS2 range.  This DJ controller really does look  like it will be at home in a pro environment and  home use, the connectivity is pro enough for anything, with XLR master out and booth connections and not forgetting line in and phono connectivity. The DDJ-1000 is also DVS ready, so you can add your vinyl DJ decks and take control of rekordbox DVS software.

As you would expect with all Pioneer DJ products this is built to a high standard and will withstand the demands of the DJ .
